Bethlehem Lily
They say, third time's a charm, but I should say the fourth time's a charm, because it's the 4th time, this year, that the Star of Bethlehem Flower (also known as Epiphyllum oxypetalum scientifically and locally known as Brahma Kamal) has bloomed in our garden.
But an even more unique occurrence is that 3 flowers bloomed at the same time. This plant has been carefully nurtured by my parents and with God's blessings, it has given such unique flowers.
The plant produces clusters of small, white, star-shaped flowers that are often referred to as "Star-of-Bethlehem". This is reminiscent of the star of Bethlehem, a bright star that was said to have appeared in the sky at the time of Jesus' birth.
The flowers bloom and wither in a matter of 10 hours, and I was blessed to capture all this on camera.

The entire timelapse video was shot on a Canon Rebel SL3 mounted on a Vanguard ESPOD CX 203AGH tripod, and an Ikea STRIMSÄV for lighting.
